Day 6 - Accenture Apprentice Exchange

Today was very special to me, because we were able to visit the Accenture Office in NYC at the One Manhattan West Tower in the Financial District. We were able to exchange our experiences with the other apprentices. I was particularly excited because I’m also an apprentice at Accenture
In the morning, Our supervisors came to check on our work on the workshop. The plan was changed to be longer than expected, so we had to include extra information for our workshop. Jia, Noè and I came together and practiced on a given list of questions and what we would answer. At Around 12:30, we left our hide-out and went to the Accenture Office.
We went with the “A” Train to Penn Station and went in the direction of the One Manhattan Tower. We were a bit early, so we grabbed something small at a local “Corner Eats”. Furthermore, we were able to get some coffee and something small to eat. After some time, we checked in, got our badges and entered the lift to the 64 Floor.
On the floor, we got taken to a large conference room and met with the other apprentices. After some time, we got together and sat down. We were introduced by the Accenture employee. We then got a speech from an ambassador on why the apprenticeship program is very important to the USA and why all Swiss companies need them. Likewise, we then got introduced to a CarrierWise salesperson thathosted the conversation between the apprentices. After finishing up the questions, we were able to get a tour of the Accenture offices with nine floors. We were also able to get some beautiful views of New York City.
We left the tower and went back to our hide-out. We decided to make dinner at home, instead of getting Uber-Eats or going out. We made pasta with tomato sauce. Not only that, but we then got together and listened to music
