Day 9 – Beem

We met Janosch and received a comprehensive demonstration of his company, Beem. We were given the opportunity to test the application on our own mobile phones. Some of us even received our first job offers because of the demonstration. Janosch also showed us the fun part of the building which contained Table football, chess and an Air Hockey table.
At lunchtime, we had the chance to interact with the GPTs. GPTs are individuals who work at UBS for two years after their college education. The shared meal provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and questions.
Lunch
For lunch we went to Bubby’s. There we ate burgers before going home.
ISLANDERS VS. DEVILS
In the evening, some of us went to watch an ice hockey match. We went by train, so we got the Penn Station by Metro and then with the Train to UBS Arena.
(New York) Islanders vs. (New Jersey) Devils. The light show was really impressing in the UBS Arena. In our opinion the game was quite boring. Devils won the game with 5 points. The Islanders had 4 points at the end of the game.
