Day 8 - Meeting at Greater Zurich Area

29. August 2024 | Tags: Berlin 2024

The day started early because we had a meeting at Greater Zurich Area (GZA). At around 8:10 am, we left our place and headed to the subway. Everyone was feeling tired, and from time to time, our eyes would close for a few moments as we rode on the metro. After several stations and changing lines a few times, we finally arrived at our destination.

At NeueHouse, we met Lukas Sieber. He gave us a brief presentation about GZA, explaining what companies look for when considering expanding their business to Switzerland. After the presentation, Jia En, Noè, and I (Lino) stayed back because Lukas introduced us to the project I would be working on. To be specific, Noah from Zurich explained the task I'll be tackling. Jia En stayed with us as she’s facing some difficulties with her project. The professor at NYU, ourt contact for her project, is very busyunder a lot of stress. In short, my task is to find out who the CEOs of different companies are and input their email addresses and phone numbers into an Excel sheet.

Lukas then invited us to an Asian restaurant right next to the co-working space. We chatted about life in New York while enjoying our meal. After lunch, Lukas helped me set up a Wiza account. I’ll use this tool to find the email addresses of various CEOs on LinkedIn. The rest of the afternoon was spent gathering company details, and around 5 pm, we called it a day. We stopped by a coffee shop near Madison Square Park, grabbed some pastries, and headed back to our place. The others spend their day working on their project, brainstorming and enjoying their evening.
