Day 28 – Final Farewell

Today was all about completing the projects. Our client reserved a room for the WordPress project where we can hand over the entire project. We transferred the login data to him and he ran some final tests. Unfortunately, a few bugs came to light, for example the link to change the password did not work. We were able to solve this and other bugs over lunchtime.
In the evening, TIE International invited us learners and all the clients to a final dinner together at Bubby's in North Hudson.
Until then, we were able to return home, pack a few things and then leave home at 18:15.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed and the informal exchange with our various clients was very informative. We enjoyed our meals, the specialty of the house was pancakes with chicken. Some of us tried a root-beer float for the first time.
We said goodbye to everyone one last time and they wished us a safe journey home.
On the way to the subway, we walked past the famous Ghostbusters sign, where the successful movie was filmed 40 years ago.
Everyone was aware that tonight would be the last time they would spend the night in New York, so the rest of the evening was quiet and everyone was a little preoccupied with themselves, reflecting on the past four weeks.
