Today was the least eventful day from the whole trip. Not a lot happened and everyone was either pretty tired or went out to go shopping in Macy’s.

Sick Morning
I wanted to go to the Brooklyn Bridge this morning, but because I felt ill that morning, I was not able to go out. Others in the house were either sick as well or so tired that they were sleeping. Others went out down to SoHo to get some clothes, since it is cheaper to get them here than back in switzerland.

False Alarm
As everyone was back at our hideout, we wanted to recreate the food that we made back at the UBS Kitchen. While frying the meat, we forgot to open up the windows and the kitchen became full of smoke. We made so much smoke that even the fire alarm was beeping and we had to quickly turn it off.

Mediocre Night
In the evening, some of us, me included, wanted to try some Boba Tea. Because it was very late, the closest store open was over ten blocks away with a half hour walk. Arriving there, we got the drink and went directly back. The Tea was alright, but we thought the balls in the drinks weren’t cooked completely and were hard in the center. While going to the store, we got the notification about air quality warnings and having to wear masks, which was very concerning to us. We later found out that it was a fire that broke out in a park in Brooklyn, which is very unfortunate.
