Day 23 - City Lights from Above
29. August 2024 | Tags: Berlin 2024
Today began like most weekdays, with all of us heading to our usual co-working space to dive into our individual projects. The morning passed quickly, and by lunchtime, hunger set in. We decided to grab a quick breakfast at Target. After some searching, bagels and cream cheese seemed like the only sensible choice that wouldn’t overload us with sugar.
Lunch break and city explorations
By noon, we were ready for a break, but not everyone was feeling particularly hungry. So, we split up: Gian-Luca, Noe, and David headed to Wagamama for lunch, while Timofey and Colin decided to check out a nearby camera store and took the opportunity to stroll through the city. Wandering around, they found themselves in streets filled with shops and displays, and it was refreshing to explore more of the city.
An afternoon at Accenture
We regrouped at the co-working space in the afternoon to continue our projects, wrapping up around 4 p.m. The highlight of the day was an exciting visit to Accenture’s offices. An exclusive tour organized by Timofey to see NYC’s skyline in the dark. We went up to their office floors and were treated to panoramic views of the city just as the sun began to set. It was surreal to see New York’s skyline bathed in orange and pink hues, and we couldn’t resist taking plenty of photos and videos to capture the view.
Spicy ramen at the hideout
As evening rolled around, we split up again, planning to meet at The Hideout for dinner. There, some of the group opted for spicy ramen noodles. They weren’t just mildly spicy. They were seriously hot, and calling them “spicy” would be putting it lightly. The heat lingered long after each bite, leaving everyone’s mouths tingling. It was intense, but we couldn’t help laughing about it as we fought through the burn.
