Day 15 - Halloween Night
29. August 2024 | Tags: Berlin 2024
Today was a special day, because of Halloween. Regardless, the day started early since we all went to a workshop from a startup. The startup came up with the idea of collecting data about customers for smaller retailers (less than 50 employees), such as where they sit or how long it takes them to order. And then analyze this information with AI. We were able to share our ideas and Noé was able to use his knowledge of AI to explain how it would work.
At noon, we parted ways as some had a reservation at Din Tai Fung restaurant and others went for burgers at The Smith restaurant.
The Din Tai Fung restaurant was a bit more special, because to get there you had to walk down a corridor in Time Square. In the restaurant, there was a glass box where you could watch the chefs prepare the dim sun. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the food was indescribably good.
After lunch, we went home and worked a little more on our projects. As it was Halloween today, we had to prepare our professional costumes - Trader Joe's sacks with faces cut into them.
With the sack on our heads, we made our way to the famous parade. On the way there, some of us did a bit of trick or treating and sometimes we even got compliments for the inventive costume idea.
The crowd in front of the parade was huge, you could hardly move and see almost nothing. Which is why we didn't stay there too long and went to get some pasta.
At the end of the day we had the mission to take a picture in front of a Trader Joe's, after we achieved that we made our way home.
